Before being bought by the famous French artist and animal painter, Thierry Bisch, the vineyard ETALON ROUGE belonged to the French actor, G\u00e9rard Depardieu (and Bernard Magrez, an important chateau owner and promoter of great Bordeaux and international wines).<\/p>\n
For eight years Denis Dubourdieu, professor of oenology at the University of Bordeaux, and wine producer in his own family vineyards, was the consultant to ETALON ROUGE. Sadly %22the Pope of white wines%22 died in 2016, shortly after we acquired the vineyard. However, his legacy remains.<\/p>\n
Today Etalon Rouge is owned by a consortium of ten wine lovers from all over the world (\u00e9ventuellement un lien aux actionnaires, on verra ca avec eux).
